I have always felt that the best stories took readers on a winding roller coaster ride while holding the promise of a  hopeful ending, much like the fairy tales I read as a child. I set out to write dark thrillers that resonate in that same way for readers today.

The scariest bad guys are not supernatural beings, but are instead twisted humans who look like everyone else.
